Technician (apprentice)

Performs Aircraft Component maintenance (inspect, test, repair, overhaul) based on customer requirements and component condition. Performs additional duties as directed by management.

Your key responsibilities

In this position, your main responsibilities and duties are:

  • Maintain safe work habits at all times
  • Comply with ALL regulatory agency (OSHA, EPA, FAA, etc.) requirements
  • Meet/exceed operations productivity and efficiency standards
  • Champion Continuous Improvement, LEAN, 6S, etc.
  • Perform maintenance repairs/overhauls on assigned components
  • Complete cleaning tasks on assigned components
  • Complete inspection requirements on assigned components
  • Complete test requirements on assigned components
  • Communicate/research problem situations that cannot be remedied within assigned sections
  • Ensure cleanliness of assigned work area and test areas
  • Verify unit performance by conducting test runs
  • Assist with training and development of SR Technicians, and Technicians
  • Other duties as assigned

What do we ask from you?

The successful applicant would have:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required and a technical school certificate (A&P License) or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents
  • Must be able to read and comprehend English
