How you keep the engine running with us

As a Logistics Team Leader, you will manage a team of 10 to 18 colleagues, overseeing the Warehouse & Transport departments. You and your team will be responsible for receiving shipments, inspecting and verifying aircraft parts, managing the physical flow of goods on-site, and maintaining various warehouses.

Your role involves being actively present on the shop floor daily, where you'll balance your duties as both a colleague and a direct supervisor. This close involvement allows you to support and coach your team effectively. You'll monitor internal processes, adjust when KPIs are not met, and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.

In addition, you will conduct performance reviews, maintain records, and create staffing plans. While the role is primarily during daytime hours, you should be flexible and open to working evening shifts when necessary. You will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics.

How you are valuable to us

  • Completed MBO+ / HBO education, preferably in Logistics
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry (Aviation, Medical) is a plus
  • Customer-focused with strong prioritization skills
  • Persistent with a keen eye for quality
  • Familiar with working with KPIs and Lean tools
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and experienced with ERP systems
  • Good command of Dutch is required, English proficiency is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Empathy and the ability to collaborate effectively

Above all, you are a people-oriented manager who understands the dynamics on the shop floor. With your interpersonal skills and positive energy, you will lead your team toward success.
