How you keep the engine running with us

The main challenge in this role is to convert projects into technically feasible work packages so that your colleagues can effectively and efficiently execute them with the designated resources, materials, and instructions. Additionally, you are responsible for creating, monitoring, and adjusting the project plan and schedule to maintain a clear overview of the project status.

You will also maintain daily contact with colleagues in Production to gather project status updates and maintenance requirements. You will liaise with the Procurement and Logistics departments, providing them with information about purchase orders and initiating outsourcing for specialized component processes. Regular communication with the Project Manager is required to discuss project progress. Moreover, you will communicate with customers to address technical and substantive questions, so proficiency in English is essential.

As a work preparer, you will provide information for purchase orders to the Procurement department to ensure timely availability of project resources. Additionally, you will monitor project progress and initiate meetings in case of any emergencies that may hinder progress. Your responsibilities also include developing and updating project schedules, translating project plans into standardized maintenance tasks, and keeping track of their status.

How you are valuable to us

Requirements:

  • MBO+ (Intermediate Vocational Education) level of education or equivalent;
  • Knowledge of planning and quality systems;
  • Thorough understanding of project management and experience with planning and logistical processes;
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance processes and associated documentation is a strong advantage.

  • Constant pursuit of standardization and flexibility;
  • Achieving self-set challenging goals;
  • Thorough knowledge of information systems;
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English;
  • Please note that a Military screening will be conducted due to the nature of the job involving Military work.
