How you keep the engine running with us

As a Logistic Lead AOG Services you will lead and be part of a dedicated AOG Team of ~7 FTE, working in a 24/7 roster.  You will  be accountable for and ensure a smooth operation of our AOG and Inspection Services in accordance with the agreed Service Levels. You ensure that 24/7 support is guaranteed through staff planning and in case of interruptions you will proactively find a solution.

Together with your team you will actively manage the operational priorities. It is your responsibility to provide our customers with the best possible Services and AOG Support. You will drive performance improvement (OTD%) via operational management and continuous improvement, including (basic) performance reporting towards internal and external stakeholders.

Next to managing the team, you are part of and work in the team. You will represent your team in (cross) departmental meetings/events. You are an active member of the continuous improvement community and are predominantly focused on materializing supply chain improvements.

  • Staff planning to ensure all task are performed within agreed (K)PI’s and Contracts;
  • Daily Management of all required tasks within AOG Support & Inspection to ensure smooth operation;
  • Prioritize workload and assign team members to required tasks;
  • Act as point-of-escalation for your organizational unit;
  • Represent your team in (cross) departmental meetings/events;
  • Maintain constant communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment;
  • Drive standardization and implementation of best practices;
  • Ensure a flawless administration in our different ERP Systems;
  • Facilitate Non Conformity procedures to have parts inspected by certifying staff;
  • Waste control and keep the work environment and surroundings clean and tidy (5S);
  • Perform all other required duties to keep the logistics department/warehouse operational;
  • Able to set the right priorities and work according to the defined standards;
  • Able to improvise on AOG requests;
  • Customer focused and convincing attitude;
  • Flexible and open minded, able to work together with a wide range of people;
  • Perform all duties of the AOG Support Representatives as required per roster;

How you are valuable to us

  • MBO4 or HBO level by education or experience;
  • Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
  • Preferably experienced in (aerospace) logistics;
  • Fluent in Dutch & Advanced in English(verbal and written);
  • Basic technical knowledge of aircraft parts and tooling preferred;
  • Forklift license (Narrow-Aisle & Reach) or willing to obtain must;
  • VCA preferred or willing to obtain must;
  • Requirement to pass internal training programs;
  • Flexible and agile attitude;
  • Stress resistant, be able to perform under pressure;
  • Accurate and result oriented;
  • Team player;
  • Currently living in the Netherlands.
