As the HSE Manager for Fokker Services Group, you will lead the execution, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, and Environment Management System, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a culture of safety and sustainability across our global sites.

How you keep the engine running with us

As the HSE Manager for the Fokker Services Group, your primary responsibility is to execute, maintain, and improve the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Management System, ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.

In this role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with HSE Engineers, Department Managers, and Team Leaders across all Fokker Services Group sites. You will be an active member of the global Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) community, working with your colleagues to drive best practice sharing and continuous improvement. You will report directly to the HSEQ Director and be based at the FSG location in Hoogerheide

The HSE Manager is responsible for the High Level HSE Management structure for all Fokker Services Group Sites.

The main responsibilities and tasks of the HSE Manager are:

  • to secure and maintain our license to operate by adhering to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and environmental permits. ;
  • to prepare and execute the yearly audit plan, safety risk assessments and environmental risk assessments;
  • to prepare management reviews, monitor audit plan progress, and document and manage audit findings and occurrences.
  • to drive the development and deployment of uniform HSE standards across all Fokker Services Group sites globally (Oude Meer, Hoofddorp, Hoogerheide, Singapore, and Lagrange (USA));
  • to contribute to and maintain a HSE training program with e.g. quarterly safety e-learning and toolbox meetings;
  • managing the Risk Identification and Evaluation (RI&E) for the different sites;
  • assessing chemical and toxic hazards (using Toxic © software);
  • ensuring compliance with REACH, requirements;
  • compliance to Occupational Health and Safety (ARBO) requirements;
  • managing and performing machine risk assessments.

How you are valuable to us

  • a Bachelor degree and a certification as a Senior safety and environmental expert (HVK);
  • minimum of 3 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management role, preferably within the Aerospace or similar industry;
  • a keen eye for identifying and implementing improvements, consistently seeking smarter ways to operate;
  • experience with the ISO High Level Structure;
  • exceptional interpersonal skills; a motivator and strong team player
  • excellent communication, presentation- and facilitation skills;
  • proven ability to mobilize commitment and develop a strategic vision for HSE management;
  • results driven with a pro-active approach;
  • excellent proficiency in Dutch and English, both verbal and written;
  • willingness to travel internationally on occasion.
