How you keep the engine running with us

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying, initiating, and leading improvement projects within our organization. You will play a crucial role in streamlining our processes, increasing efficiency, and enhancing overall operational performance. Working closely with various departments and management members, you will implement changes that support our business objectives.

What will you do?

  • Analyze and evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks;
  • Design and implement improvement initiatives to optimize operational processes and enhance quality;
  • Collect data, analyze trends, and develop performance indicators to measure project progress and quantify results;
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to implement necessary changes and create buy-in for improvement initiatives;
  • Train employees in new methods and techniques for continuous improvement;
  • Actively seek innovative solutions and best practices from the industry to strengthen our competitive position;
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

How you are valuable to us

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field;
  • Proven experience with lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and other improvement techniques;
  • Fluency in Dutch AND English;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization;
  • Experience in project management and successful leadership of cross-functional teams;
  • A proactive attitude and a passion for achieving continuous improvement;
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, etc;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate others.
