Aircraft Mechanic
As a Calculator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates, cost price calculations, quotations, and decision-making calculations for maintenance, modification, repair, working parties, and crash repair of civil/military aircraft. Your primary goal is to acquire contracts at acceptable prices. In this role, you will be able to understand complex quotation requests and analyze technical, logistical, and financial risks associated with different aircraft types.
Core tasks and responsibilities:
- Understanding assignments and projects, gathering all necessary information to prepare accurate cost estimations and provide advice;
- Estimating materials, resources, labor, facilities, services, and other direct order costs using standards, guidelines, and technical insight;
- Formulating principles and conditions for financially responsible project execution;
- Presenting and justifying cost calculations to management and Sales, and providing support during negotiations with potential clients;
- Estimating additional and reduced work for projects;
- Developing standards and benchmarks to support cost calculations;
- Participating in discussions and maintaining contact with relevant departments, customer representatives, and subcontractors to optimize cost calculations;
- Professionalization and digitalization of the bidding process.
