How you keep the engine running with us

As Business Application Lead, you will have the responsibility of overseeing both the build and run aspects of various application and data domains across the organization. You will be involved in developing new solutions to address business opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the entire process, from gathering business requirements and strategy to planning and completion. Your role as the Business Application Lead involves coordinating and managing the domains involved in building and operating IS&T application and data projects. You will also play a crucial role in proposing and implementing projects, ensuring the timely delivery of solutions within budget and with high-quality standards.

As the Business Application Lead, your focus will be on steering, facilitating, coordinating, and managing all application and data domains to achieve the objectives defined in the Applications Management strategy, with input from Infrastructure Management and Security.

Your primary responsibility as the Business Application Lead is to integrate all applications and data systems to deliver robust, cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable solutions that meet the business requirements. This includes integrating global solutions with regional ones, as well as aligning Fokker Services Group's internal systems with external solutions.

How you are valuable to us

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure development and maintenance;
  • 3+ years of project management experience;
  • Strong technical skills in infrastructure technologies, including networks, servers,
    storage, and virtualization;
  • Experience managing projects in a complex and dynamic environment;
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  • IPMA-C , PMP or Prince2 certification preferred;
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices;
  • Experience in drafting and implementing budget management plans;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch, both verbal and written;
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile methodology is a plus.
